In his research, Tyler has focused on innovative solutions in wildlife conservation and robotics. He has led teams at UCSD’s Engineers for Exploration (E4E), developing systems to track small animals with high-frequency wildlife transmitters and creating tools for automatic tracking of baboon troops using drone footage. This work not only showcases his leadership in tackling complex challenges but also his commitment to leveraging technology for environmental and scientific research.
